As a lifelong DMB fan, I love Matt’s podcast. Was just listening to the ep on Busted Stuff..so many things that I didn’t know about the recording of this record.
I appreciate the deep dives on topics rarely covered.
So good!!
Norlander gets great guests, but he talks over them and interrupts a lot to get in his own thoughts. He’s very knowledgeable about music, but let the guests speak! I’ve heard plenty of what seemed to be good answers or thoughts from Stephen Harris or Steve Lillywhite get interrupted and lost because Norlander demands to speak. But the guests are great and the episodes have really interesting topics and nostalgia.
Matt has emerged as the definitive journalist for getting the backstory on some of the most iconic and important albums in modern history. His coverage of DMB is essential listening!
