  • A refreshing and inspirational podcast

I am so excited about this new podcast. Jamie and Lori’s voices are perfect for podcasting. They are soothing to listen to. The idea of Reblooming is so appealing to me as I am in the middle of it but making slow progress. I cannot wait for the next episode to drop.

  • Like hanging out with my tribe

I really enjoyed this first interview episode with Lucy Hunter learning about her career path. I am an almost 60 yr old artist/illustrator who is still trying to get up the brave heart to partner with an agent. I found this conversation inspirational and like I am not alone in this big world of making a living being a creative professional. Thank you for this relaxing and inspiring “hang out” in my day today.

  • Just What The World Needs!

This is something that every creative needs to listen to, which means EVERYONE (because we are all creative in our own unique ways!) It’s never to late and I love hearing you both encourage others about the possibilities available to each one of us.

I love telling people “Never think that what you have to give is insignificant. There will always be someone who needs what you have to to give!”

Awakening Creativity with Carrie Schmitt: How Art Becomes a Sacred Path to Healing and Wholeness
Q: Can you talk about the process of writing your book and how long it took you?
I wrote down my thoughts during the pandemic and, with help from my editor, turned them into book form over about a year.
Awakening Creativity with Carrie Schmitt: How Art Becomes a Sacred Path to Healing and Wholeness
Q: Was creativity, art, drawing, all of those things present in your life prior to this allergy that you discovered?
Yes, I grew up in a creative family but shut down that part of myself due to external pressures.
Little Tokens, Big Ripples: The Art of Gentle Change with Mansi
Q: So did you carry that forward into what you did professionally or what you did in school?
No, because in high school things changed. I don't have any of my watercolors because my mom threw them away.
Little Tokens, Big Ripples: The Art of Gentle Change with Mansi
Q: Have you always been an artist or is this something new for you?
I think all of us have always been artists and I've always been confounded by that question because I think even engineers are artists and lawyers are artists.
Justina Blakeney: Designing a Life of Color, Creativity, and Connection We're thrilled to welcome Justina Blakeney to the podcast—an extraordinary Los
Q: Do you have any advice that you follow or that you like to give to people give to other artists or people who ask you questions, just a little piece of advice?
Having a daily creative practice is extremely important, especially for folks who feel a little bit stuck; just carving out even 10-15 minutes every morning for that practice can change your life.
