  • Do not listen for medical advice

This podcast is useful for financial commentary, but useless for medical advice released on February 20 2021.

When interviewed guests are actuaries and economists, they ought to stay in their lane and not pass on medical commentary on SARS-COV-2 and the resulting COVID-19 disease.

Misinformation and a poor understanding of the cause and mitigation of COVID-19 should not be published by an otherwise useful podcast.

Key Players Pivot to Robots, AI Agents Proliferate | Trading the Markets With AI
Q: Can you explain how Rebel Terminal differs from off-the-shelf AI tools in terms of handling probabilistic forecasting?
Rebel Terminal goes beyond single-model outputs by orchestrating multiple back-end models, running them through a consensus framework, and using Bayesian updating to quantify uncertainty. It automates the design and optimization of machine learning pipelines, enabling robust, multi-step forecasting rather than relying on a single model's prediction.
How I Use AI To Trade The Markets! | Kris Bullock and Bijan Maleki
Q: How long did it take to build Estima and get it to its current level of functionality?
It took roughly around three weeks of focused effort, starting from the idea to a deployable system, with extensive experimentation and multiple Claude-based iterations on a home server to dial in data sources, API calls, and the consolidation workflow.
New Milestone for Claude, OpenAI Kills Sora
Q: What is the core architecture and toolchain Alan used to build his AI-powered portfolio system?
Alan describes using a blend of Gemini for front-end, Claude Code for coding, OpenAI for requirements, and local LLMs via Olamma to run lighter analytics, with the system orchestrated through frameworks like GSD and SpecKit to enforce phase-based development and guardrails.
Crypto Defies the Doom and Gloom
Q: When you have a sense that Bitcoin has solidified and ready to move upward, how are you positioning yourself to maximize gains and take on risk?
The guest describes waiting for a cleaner breakout after being burned by a false breakout, considering a move into Pump if a breakout occurs and keeping focus on high-conviction assets like Pump and Hyperliquid-based narratives, while noting caution around altcoins and the need for risk management.
Trading the Markets with AI: March 4, 2026
Q: Red asked whether to buy a Mac Mini or Studio for OpenClaw and how to decide if local LLMs are worth it.
The hosts advised assessing the intended use, explaining that local hardware matters mainly for running local models or maintaining offline workflows, while API-based cloud usage allows lighter hardware; for routine, automated tasks, local processing can be beneficial, but for general use, you can start with existing hardware and cloud-based models.
