In this video, Justin Schieber joins Dr. Gavin Ortlund for a friendly conversation on Schellenberg's argument from Divine Hiddenness.
A few weeks ago, Gavin Ortlund of Truth Unites released a video exploring the argument from divine hiddenness and giving several objections to it. While I appreciated Gavin's wrestling with the argument, I did not think his objections are successful.... more

My rating barely ekes into 3-star territory because of the earlier episodes with Justin Schieber, who listeners of Reasonable Doubts will know for his respectful, but extraordinarily thorough debating style. Best philosophy of religion podcast from the perspective of naturalists!
Discussions with philosphers of religion, the people most qualified to evaluate the god propositions.
Formerly, i rated this 4/5 stars. The first episode post-Justin leaves much to be desired. The chemistry between Ben and his guests is off kilter and difficult to listen to. The discussion on Kalam had the hinting of good content, but is too disorganised to be useful. Instead of a clear discussion of particular objections, it reduces to a smattering of half-baked objections seemingly partially remembered. Much room for improvement.
Quite familiar with previous program of the now defunct Reasonable Doubts. Justin has broken out on his own with a fine podcast. He, thankfully, carried over an essential element of the previous endeavor, quality. As a former speech therapist I am impressed with the subject quality and its comprehensive thoroughness. In like manner Justin exhibits great speech patterns of articulation and prosody. Nice combination for an effective podcast.
