I’m an almost daily listener, lovely comforting easy listening podcast. Interesting interviews, topical. Bernard is great and Colman Noctor’s slots are v interesting.
I have listened to every single episode but I can’t listen any more. Every episode mentions ai/chat gpt and how well off other people are. This coming live from Merrion Row with a holiday home in Dunmore East!!! And Mairead flying to London to see It Matilda when it is on in Dublin. It is tedious and completely tone deaf. 5 stars for Bernard is a must listen though. I love Bernard!
First time to listen to a podcast, have to say really enjoyed the show Ray! well done!
This stuff will put you to sleep in a couple of minutes
Don’t worry about missing the rest of the episode
The next one will be the same

The show blends casual, personality-driven chat with topical discussions across Irish culture, technology, parenting, travel, and current events. Regular banter with a rotating cast of guests and friends of the show keeps episodes light and authentic, while occasional deep dives with experts offer context on psychology, education, and global issues. The format is conversational, often mixing personal anecdotes, listener contributions, and timely topics, which tends to attract a broad, everyday-audience in Ireland. A notable strength is the approachable host dynamic, creating a sense of familiar, everyday conversation that can feel like chatting with friends, balanced by occasional serious segments on societal topics.
