Love the show. Love Meredith. Think reading should be kept to her or to guests actually making an appearance in the episode. Hope the show continues and they get longer episode possibilities.
I used to love this podcast but it’s lost its purpose. I know it must have been tough when Aprile first left the show, but that was a while ago now. It’s time to have an official co-host, return to the central concept, and get back on track. I love Meredith but the bedtime stories are boring. She’s a wonderful host and producer but not great at telling scary stories, or rather, not great at making them scary. Have the first-person or actors do them once again.
This was a good podcast, I don’t even mind the corny voice actors that people complain about. My issue is how short the episodes are, why do they still continue the podcast if they don’t have enough stories or have anything to talk about? It seems as if there’s no more passion put into this.
This was a good podcast but the corny voice actors and HORRIBLE story choices as of lately..
Started listening to this pod after Emma from RLGS recommended it - initially found it fun with the quirky music & the 2 hosts bouncing off each - down to 1 host the format flagging & it's just a bit flat now .....

Across recent episodes, conversations blend personal childhood fears, haunted memories, and modern tech-adjacent mysteries with warm banter, storytelling, and occasional musical interludes. The format typically mixes hosted storytelling, listener submissions, and guest perspectives, delivering a comforting yet eerie vibe that appeals to fans of nostalgic horror, intimate narratives, and community-driven scares. Noteworthy are the host's approachable delivery, the multimedia blend of music and sound design, and the recurring emphasis on motherhood, family stories, and shared fear as a communal experience.
