  • Quality mileage varies widely

Often the beltway smugness & holier than thou smirk ruins the often quality factual discussions about policy & natsec. Please can Alan R never be on again? He’s awful & sexist & just plain bad. Unfortunate, as it can be good.

  • Less repetition of what you wrote/said elsewhere. More conversation. More digging in.

Appreciate this show when the panel remembers it is a round table and actually have conversations. Leave the minutiae and expertise vomit for in depth podcasts. should be kept to other Lawfare repeated here. Would love a strictly adhered to timer to cut off answers to the starter questions on each topic. People asking questions should get any longer to ask a question than the timer too. Especially Allen.

Rat Sec provides an eloquent narrative of both critical and realistic accounts of the state of the world. Scott is insanely intelligent, and his voice could narrate bedtime stories, Ben always provides a comical take to situations that seemingly can result in our imminent doom, Quinta is not afraid to push back and provide new perspectives to discussions. And all frequenting guest are spectacular. I always look forward to next week’s episode. Well done

Thank you for helping a lay person unravel the state of world today. Had to abandon legacy news since 2020. Anastasiia comments that ‘Petro Poroshenko…who Zelensky sanctioned kind of absurdly’. Was surprised at this comment, even then. Poroshenko may publicly support President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but today 06 March, an article in the Guardian states, and to which both have confirmed, Petro Poroshenko and Yulia Tymoshenko have held discussions with Trump’s entourage. Given this administrati... more

The “Scare Them When They’re Young” Edition
Q: Ari, I want to turn to you to get us started.

The “Inadequate Chicken Moved to Inferior Location” Special End-of-Year Edition
Q: How do you view the record of Attorney General Merrick Garland?
He has been slow and methodical, but it comes down to what the Supreme Court decides, so it's hard to evaluate his legacy without that context.
The “Inadequate Chicken Moved to Inferior Location” Special End-of-Year Edition
Q: What should we make of President Trump's lawsuit against the BBC?
It reflects a broader trend of the Trump Administration's campaign against the media and seeks to exert influence over the BBC.

Q: What sphere of influence is Western Europe in today?
Traditionally within the U.S. sphere of influence, but currently uncomfortable due to U.S. policies.
