I’m a queer catholic teen that has always been in very queerphobic, religious communities. I find my group within it but it’s hard. This podcast has helped a lot with my confidence in my identity, especially from a faithful standpoint. I’m even going to use this for my Bible study I have with my friends as a way to help us accept ourselves as a community, making the weight lighter with more hands.
I wanted to love this podcast so much. The idea is great and when I found it, I thought this was exactly what I needed as someone trying to figure out my spiritual identity, listening to people approaching theology from a queer-centric lens. But the problem is that so many of the episodes barely start to get into the topic at hand before they then go “for the rest, sign up for X or Y class!” It’s like, to get the full message, you have to pay money. In effect it is just Neo paganism with a Christian label. Please do not listen if you are serious about having a walk with God and growing deeper with Him.
