I’ve learned so much since listening to pure dog talk, it is absolutely my favourite podcast.
However the latest episode mentioned the Dalmatian to pointer outcross as a success. I would disagree, I know of lua Dalmatians with such severe stomach issues they are on a seriously restrictive diet or they’ll end up at the vet. The trouble with the lua gene however is that those breeders prioritise it above all else. So dogs with bad temperaments are used, dogs with bad hip and elbow scores are used... more
