Timothy and Ben have succeeded in creating a genuinely engaging podcast out of their enthusiasm for and experience with psychology. There’s no way I can verify the veracity of their research but I’ll stick my neck out and say the shows are well researched—why wouldn’t they be?

The hosts are warm, knowledgable, nerdy where they need to be, and always keep the show moving forward. It’s clear they are good friends, comfortable riffing off each other as they are, and keeping Tim in giggles.

  • Psycomedia - for the Sisyphus in all of us

There are many, many ways in which I could praise the Psycomedia podcast, as one of the most consistently intelligent, egotistical (TIMOTHY!), pretty and of course, hilarious things out here on the internet, but I'd much rather prove its quality by talking of how it affects my day-to-day activity.

See, I have been banished to the climbs of New Zealand, Nelson to be exact, and live on the top of a veritable mountain of a molehill. Each day I have to fall down this hill and climb back up it, henc... more

  • Psychologically Comic Media ? Cathartic comedy !

This brilliant podcast combines a few of my favourite things - psychology, humour and geek references !!

Timothy Swann and Ben Fell are fantastically funny, incomparably informative and gratuitously geeky in just the right way.

My favourite episode thus far is episode 8: The Gage and Sons Tamping Iron Gage Gauge, in which the two DNA strands of psychology and comedy entwine in a magnificent fashion that has Watson and Crick giggling in their graves

Not only are these guys funny, they have re... more

  • A Freuding Good Show

The presenters, Ben Fell and Timothy Swann, have a good rapport (or seem to, I suppose they might secretly hate each other), and generate consistently entertaining banter. The conceit of the show, discussing psychology experiments, is quite interesting, and very well executed. The episodes are themed, and give a thoroughly amusing look at this bizarre world of ours. Psycomedia is well worth downloading, but may prove to be addicting.
