Due to OVERWHELMING public demand Greg (James) and Alice (Levine) are finally monetising their friendship.
Introducing… Bad Chat!
A club for sharing the best-worst parts of the week; shame spirals, existential crises, petty grievances, mild injustices - and this is just Greg’s morning. We will be forensic about the trivial, dramatic about the inconsequential, you can’t ask for fairer than that.... more

Makes me laugh out loud. Only negative is sometimes I feel they talk over their guest caller who can’t get their story out.
It’s just two random people talking about random things. There are no set topics or segments… no research, preparation or ANYTHING put into the podcast.
They just show up, switch on the recorder and yammer without structure. And how do they have ads with only one month of episodes??? It’s 100% not worth skipping through ads for.
There are many great podcasts that a lot of work goes into (Timesuck, Small Town Murder, Against the Odds, …) and they deserve 5 stars.
If I had a nickel for every time Alice learned how to make a “citizens arrest” on a podcast, I’d only have 2 nickels… but it’s weird that it happened twice… Alice & Greg are hilarious, love the bants, love the friendship bullying, love the survey!
Excellent silly chat. Loving the references…gonna re watch Clarissa Explains it all now. Alice and Greg brilliant and funny.
This is one of, if not the funniest podcast I’ve listened too. (Occasionally I also pop the video version on). I laugh like a hysterical, crazed person on the verge of tears, in my car, in public: no place is safe. It’s a risky business.
Despite being an Aussie I listen almost exclusively to British podcasts and the humour in this one lands fabulously. I also like No such thing as a fish, Sexted, My Dad Wrote a Porno, Infinite monkey cage…
So if you like those shows, give this one a go.

A buoyant, irreverent banter show centered on the week's trivial drama, audience interactions, and ongoing in-jokes between two hosts. Episodes weave live-event plugs, playful hypotheticals, and improvised guest segments with a strong emphasis on audience participation, storytelling, and self-aware branding around the “bad chat” vibe. The format is loose, fast-paced, and highly relational, making it easy for new listeners to jump in and feel part of a growing community. Noteworthy is the sustained chemistry between hosts, willingness to improvise with callers and guests, and a distinct meta-humor that blends everyday life with pop culture moments. Potential sponsors or guests should note the club-like, casual aesthetic and a penchant for in... more
