A beautiful blend of poetic reporting and comedic relief. Slater is a wildly talented storyteller and is a perfect balance for Tanks sweet goofballieness. I look forward to each show and am utterly addicted to the thrilling adventure of history, crime, and (often) justice. LOVE this show!
Content in the beginning episodes was great, as the podcast has gained a following and started playing ads content has been watered down and is not as engaging, now just fueled by gaining revenue and not a passion for true crime.
I listen to A LOT of true crime podcasts and this is one of my absolute favorites. It is so good. The only thing I haven’t liked so far is Chris Hansen. He sounds like such a egotistical person and kept cutting Investigator Slater off!
What a cracker of a show! After hearing Tanks SouthAfrican/Australian accent in the Pistorius pod ..I was thinking if you’d ever do a show based on an Australian crime?? Maybe ‘Snowtown’ or even ‘Kapunda murders’ we’ve had some pretty sick bastards down here. Anyway keep up the great work.
I am a True Crime Podcast freak! I have been listening to the worst, most disturbing true crime stories for years & years. Never have I ever come across one quite like Psychopedia. Investigator Slater has an undeniable talent for words and her voice!!! Is it just me or does her narration sound exactly like Carrie Bradshaw?? (A+++) I could listen to the calm, mesmerising sound of her voice all day. more
