Well done. I’ve never knew much about the Unabommer, just his reputation, but I find this intriguing

So interesting to listen to the investigators that worked this case. I also have always wondered how David felt. Good to hear he has found some peace.

  • Highly Recommended

Outstanding podcast. Good pace, very informative, deep, and gives a voice to a lot of the people involved: Kaczynski, his family, the victims, the FBI agents, the people wrongly investigated (that was a load of brand new information). David, Ted’s brother, is almost a co-narrator.

    Just an amazing work!

  • Nicely done

    I Highly recommend this podcast.

Thank you, Eric and crew! Really well done. I was a kid in the 90s and knew about the Unabomber as a boogeyman but hadn’t ever done the work to become familiar with the story (tbh, I didn’t know until I listened to this podcast that I’d been unconsciously conflating Ted Kazinski and Timothy McVeigh ~ they melted together in my brain as a kid and now they’re distinct people again - yay!).

The compassion and thoughtfulness you brought to this story was admirable a... more

  • Overall very interesting

I liked this podcast and thought it was really interesting. I kept wanting to listen to the next episode, which is a sign of a good show. The one thing I will say is that I sort of disagreed with the angle of the last episode - it seemed to sort of legitimize the unabomber’s message. At the end of the day, this guy was a deranged terrorist who clearly had some serious mental health problems and I think the podcast may have romanticized his anti-technology message a little too much. I don’t think... more

  • Mesmerised 🧐

When I read the title, I thought that I wouldn’t like the story. To my astonishment, I was hooked and couldn’t stop reading until I finished it. The narration was PERFECT. I was deeply saddened by Ted’s story. He was responsible for killing innocent people, but I wondered if society had failed him or if Ted was simply a bad person.

  • Project Unabom

If there is any beauty to be found in this horribly sad and violent story, Eric taps it. Thoroughly researched, sensitively told, nicely interlaced with glimmers of goodness from David Kaczynski. Top-tier storytelling and production that showcases humanity in inhumane circumstances.

  • Good except the left wing political commentary

The series started good until the host just started spewing his left wing partisan hack commentary on everything. Tell the story with facts, keep your political commentary to yourself.

  • Well-researched

I learned so much through this podcast - I thought I already knew the story, but this podcast really uncovered so much new information and new ways of seeing Kaczynski, his life, those he harmed, his brother, the search for him - all of it was spellbinding. Excellent podcast.
