I found this show because I happen to have Professor Nash as my real-life professor, and he shared this with the class. I highly recommend this, it’s informative and entertaining, everything you could want from a history podcast!
Heard the Battle Hymn of the Republic at President Trump’s inauguration and was inspired to look up the history! Great to hear the story behind the wonderful song!
Excellent show, good information, been a long time listener.
The episodes with regular guest Professor Nash on the 20th century are some of the best podcasts I’ve ever heard. Nash gives insightful perspective on things I thought I already knew.
Without Nash the pod came be somewhat boring, trying to stick to the busting of myths theme, involving “myths” no one actually believes. The professor’s unabashed leftist bias is a prime example of why higher education is failing our students by teaching them what to think, rather than how to think.
What a great history podcast. Prof. Buzzkill does a great job of engaging experts and introducing you to new and interesting topics. You never feel like there’s an agenda beyond getting smarter about history.
