  • Amateur.

Primordial Deep reads and sounds like a high school production. The characters are 2-dimensional, the acting is exaggerated and the dramatic choices are cliche. (Cue the moustache twirling villain.)

The author has tried really hard to be convincing. Sadly they then shoot the script in the foot with grating mistakes such as having a character describe the intricacies of an underground facility which she views whilst approaching through a “black darker than black.” If it’s so black, how did she... more

  • So Good!

This has the right amount of horror for me. I have to take breaks and listen to something in between episodes because I just get so drawn into the story that I feel it and get scared in real life. The characters feel like real people with their real lives asked to do the near impossible that becomes o much more. I can’t wait to see how all the story lines get tied together and completed!

  • It got quite interesting at the end, even though the story itself seems a little bit too... naive? I don't know, just something about the way the characters talk and act, the way it is executed does not sit too well with me. Just bad writing, maybe. The podcast seems to have been abandoned, so I'll wrap it up as an okay listen but it didn't touch me emotionally at all.

  • The acting is terrible, the reactions to situations make no sense. It's like they tried so hard that the whole idea just shatters. There are far better "monsters of the deep" podcasts, avoid this one.
