  • Episode Four

I found this podcast and Julie’s presentation quite compelling, but episode four with Bev Jackson is a standout- incredibly articulate and insightful witness testimony into how past events and personalities shaped the horrors of modern day ‘Pride’ and Stonewall’s recidivist Trans dogma.

  • Poorly presented arguments and propaganda

Context that should have been provided upfront: This is TERF propaganda masquerading as a journalistic investigation into the serious criminal case of Stephen Ireland.

Writing as a lesbian from southern England, not Surrey. This podcast was not what I had expected from reading the description and listening to most of the first episode (I did go on to finish the series).

The primary content is bad faith arguments, slippery slopes and strawman(men?) fallacies around transgender people and LGBTQI... more

  • Lacks impartiality

This investigation into Surrey Pride’s safeguarding failures, and the institutional responses that enabled Ireland, is commendable. However, the podcasters’ overt ideological framing undermines their credibility. Presenting the issue almost exclusively through a trans-exclusionary feminist and LGB rights lens lacks journalistic impartiality and conflates correlation with causation.

  • Warning - this is an anti trans podcast

The primary reporting in this podcast is supposed to be about the horrific crimes of Stephen Ireland. Secondary to that, it seems the subplot is about how Pride has been sexulised and is usuitable for children. That the rainbow flag is being used as a ‘smokescreen’ for sexual abuse by some gay men.

But the reality of this podcast is that it is a just a platform for the very forceful expression of personal opinions, about the gay, lesbian and trans communities in general by Bev Jackson, Mandy C... more
