Great Teaching
Teaches some wonderful biblical practices for sanctification. However the beginning of episode 3 appears to make salvation by making it contingent on practicing the way. The transformation described in the podcast is sanctification, an important spiritual process, but salvation is not contingent on it. Luke 23:43 involves a thief who had just come to know Jesus be promised salvation, with no opportunity to learn to practice the way.
I started listening to JMC a few years ago. His way of communicating and the methodology he offers us to deepen our relationship with Jesus is clear, concise, and very helpful. I’m so blessed by his teachings. Thank you for this life changing gift 🙏
This podcast is absolutely beautiful. I’ve listened to the first 3 three times already and it just launched. It’s food for my soul! It’s insightful, enriching and points to Jesus in such a way that it leaves you yearning to put it into practice as soon as finishing the podcast. Practicing the way is truly revolutionary!!!
John Mark has opened my spiritual eyes to see the banquet feast of apprenticeship to Jesus through the introduction of the practices and the many ways of the early saints, compared to the beans and rice of merely reading God’s word and going to church. And being introduced to Willard, Foster, Nouwen on top of that…words cannot express!!
