I look forward to this podcast every week. I heard about Jon Tyson through John Eldredge & Wild at Heart, and have been so blessed. All the pastors are incredible but I especially enjoy Jon’s teaching. In this crazy world, these messages are helping me make sense of things and keep my eyes on Jesus. Many thanks for all you do!
The monotone droning makes Suzy impossible to listen to. The word is exciting…she is not. Would like to hear her excited to preach the word.
80% of young adults are leaving the church because they don’t find Jesus compelling. This Church makes Jesus compelling. Lord send revival we pray.
Calvinist theology makes me cringe: it’s wrong on so many levels, immoral and distasteful.
I am really late in finding this church’s podcast but so glad I did. A friend forwarded me one of the sermons in the 7 Deadly Sins series and I learned so much from Pastor Jon and Ralph. Now I have a lot to catch up on but looking forward to it. They are great teachers and you can tell they really have a love for Jesus and care about helping and serving others.

The show centers on practical Christian teaching for urban life, with a strong emphasis on Jesus-centered discipleship, communal worship, and city renewal. Episodes frequently weave Scripture with contemporary relevance—covering topics from Jesus' I Am statements and spiritual renewal in New York City to the role of prayer, family faith practice, and social justice within a city church context. Listeners often hear approachable theological reflection, candid culture commentary, and challenges to secular or worldly narratives, all delivered through a pastor-led teaching team. A notable pattern is the blend of biblical depth with real-life stories, aimed at helping believers live out faith in everyday urban environments and engage their city ... more
