GUEST: Rep. Katy Hall discusses prison running club and covid
Q: What advice would you give to someone thinking about running for the legislature?
If you're motivated enough, you can do it on your own without a campaign manager, but it takes time and effort.
GUEST: Utah Republican Party Chair Rob Axson
Q: How can we make participation more accessible for people?
Improving accessibility involves evaluating what works and what doesn't in the caucus system, including changing how votes are eliminated in races and possibly having regional meetings before the state convention to increase engagement.
GUEST: Utah Republican Party Chair Rob Axson
Q: How do you think about SB 54?
SB 54 is a state election law that can be changed through litigation or legislation. It's important to strategically consider legal avenues and to collaborate with legislators rather than antagonize them.
GUEST: Utah Republican Party Chair Rob Axson
Q: What makes a good party chair?
A good party chair represents all party members and elevates the conversation rather than making it about themselves. They also need to be willing to learn from experiences, both good and bad.

Q: Does this signify something for Utah?
We’ve always punched above our weight, but I don’t think that we’re quite the tail wagging the dog.
