I’ve been listening to this show for a while now and I really enjoy the content. However, in the last couple of weeks Michael has developed a smacking noise at the end of almost all sentences. Michael! You keep referring to the “bi-sesquicentennial when talking about America’s 250th anniversary. There’s no such word. “Sesquicentennial” refers to a 150-year anniversary. Thus, a “bi-sesquicentennial” would refer to a 300-year anniversary. The word for that is “tricentennial.” The word I think you are looking for is “semiquincentennial,” a 250-year anniversary (half of five hundred years).
