  • Smacking Good Content

I’ve been listening to this show for a while now and I really enjoy the content. However, in the last couple of weeks Michael has developed a smacking noise at the end of almost all sentences. It’s a noise similar to eating food or something. I know this won’t bother a lot of people but for me it’s made the show to hard to listen to anymore. Unfollowed

  • No bi-sesquicentennial!!

Michael! You keep referring to the “bi-sesquicentennial when talking about America’s 250th anniversary. There’s no such word. “Sesquicentennial” refers to a 150-year anniversary. Thus, a “bi-sesquicentennial” would refer to a 300-year anniversary. The word for that is “tricentennial.” The word I think you are looking for is “semiquincentennial,” a 250-year anniversary (half of five hundred years).

  • Bar Fight

This is a good idea but Michael, come on. This is unlistenable with every single guest you have. You try to debate and they have no concept of debate. Talking over you nonstop is not debate. You kindly let them speak to make their point and they refuse to listen to you. That is not debate. Thanks for trying but I can’t listen to such nonsense. Love you though. Find more respectful guests Michael. The concept is great. Keep up all your great work.
