I think the hosts do a great job, but the audio quality of the guy is just so terrible. I'm not sure why it's so bad, but I'd almost be willing to start a crowd fund for a new microphone. It seems like such an easy fix, and it would improve things by leaps and bounds. Of course, the content is great, the delivery is lacking due to poor audio quality.
The hosts do a great synopsis of the medical headlines every week, helpful for deciding which journal articles to look into further
Love it... Dont know what the guys below are talking about.
I truly miss this podcast. It was the first thing I listened to when I took my daily walks. I'm a retired engineer without any training in medicine, so this gave me a lot of insight to what was going on in medicine. I would love to have them back, however, if they had decided it was time to move on, I certainly wish them great success.
This used to be one of my favourite podcasts - and I do still like the weekly podmed podcast. But why saddle us with all the 1 minute stuff? What's more, th short inserts are often repetitive. The weekly podcast is a very useful digest and it deserves 4-5 stars. However, the "junk" now included seriously detracts from what used to be a really good podcast.
