  • What even is this

I found this by chance when searching for mad men. I decided to start with mad men season 1 episode 1. So far I’m 19 minutes in and they’re just making jokes about Quiznos subs, and Mad Men seems like a tertiary thing they vaguely reference. What is going on.

  • For the Art

I’m just finishing up The Sopranos episodes and it’s been so much fun listening to Matt and Vince explaining all the art and stuff. And Matt’s song parodies are amazing. Solid B+ podcast.

  • Funny goofy and good

I’ve listened to a lot of man men podcasts - this one makes me laugh but also has some interesting discussions mixed in with silly commentary and songs. They often have good guests (esp the women) that add to the fun !

  • 5 stars + “O, Tannepalm” corona ad

My favorite rewatch pod and the most recent exploration of Mad Men has been a blast. I do hope one day a guest shouts out my favorite ad of all time: the annual Corona Xmas palm tree ad. The longest running beer ad (35 years old!)— and relative to Mad Men, a perfect blend between still print and film advertising.
