I've only listened to their Gilded Age coverage. I really liked it at first, but starting with the season 1 finale and moving into season two, both hosts had some bizarre takes on sensitive issues that made me really uncomfortable. When I expressed this on Spotify, my comments were unpublished, and then I was blocked from seeing any comments or adding comments. I guess they didn't like having their own words repeated back to them in writing. Do not recommend.
I caught the first episode of Shogun, and a friend recommended I check out this podcast, which was a great idea. You can tell their knowledge and passion for entertainment, and listening to them is a lot of fun.
Banal banter.

Listeners seem drawn toTV/film commentary that blends spoiler-friendly analysis with personal anecdotes, occasional industry insider perspectives, and practical design/craft insights. Episodes frequently tackle reviews of drama series, deep dives into production design and set decoration, and cross-promotional conversations that connect screen storytelling with real-world workflows. A standout trait is the mix of energetic banter, topic variety from set design to book club picks, and guest-driven industry conversations that give sponsors opportunities to reach both show enthusiasts and design-minded professionals.
