Please either have these edited by an audio professional, use some editing software yourself or something. They sound okay when listening from phone speakers but in my car the audio is either too quiet or blasting my ear drums. Love the content though. I just can’t listen to them 🥲
I really wanted to like it. I wanted to be able to listen to this after my daughter and I read the books together but the amount of cuss words is excessive and the wine is constant mentioned. Not who I want my daughter listening too.
Lifelong Austenite (and probably a bit older than the target demographic). So much fun listening to Molly & Becky dissect Austen content!
This is such a fun podcast about Jane Austen’s books and adaptations. I really enjoy the hosts’ sense of humour and knowledge about the topic. Great stuff!
This is so fun. I enjoy Molly and her guesses about what’s gonna happen. Becca is great with her “I will neither confirm or deny”. I also love when they cover the adaptations and retellings and they have led me to some books, I might have otherwise not known about.

They explore class, gender, and morality across Austen's canon, often mixing sharp analysis with warm fangirling. Noteworthy is the pair's dynamic: one reader who has devoured Austen and a co-host experiencing the works for the first time, which creates fresh, accessible discussions and a welcoming vibe for new readers. Fans often cite the entertaining banter, timely references, and thoughtful takeaways on adaptation and social critique as key reasons to listen. The show's approach—balanced scholarship and playful personality—makes it appealing for Austen enthusiasts and newcomers alike, and it frequent... more
