Reviews

4.8 out of 5 stars from 35 ratings
  • Far left organization out of touch

In an industry with so many urgent challenges the IFPA is out of touch with their constant progressive liberal content. When you follow the money it will not be difficult to find the path they are seeking through grants and funding.

The host is not very engaging and the association seems to represent themselves more than the produce industry. Another produce podcast to check up on every now an again.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Future of Produce: Infor and the Agentic AI Revolution
Q: Where should a produce company begin onboarding and what does the onboarding look like?
Begin with end-to-end workflow mapping, starting with operations and finance, and then scale through phase-based implementations. Avoid siloed use cases; instead, target holistic processes like procure-to-pay, with governance, data management, and change management to ensure adoption and ROI.
The Future of Produce: Infor and the Agentic AI Revolution
Q: Why do generic AIs fall short in food and agriculture, and how is Infor addressing this?
Generic AI tries to cast a wide net and ends up being shallow across many domains. Infor focuses on industry-specific models and data, integrating with a unified platform (Infor OS) to reduce hallucinations and ensure accurate, context-aware decisions within food and beverage processes.
The Future of Produce: Infor and the Agentic AI Revolution
Q: What is agentic AI and what do people mean by the agentic enterprise?
Agency AI is about end-to-end autonomy: setting a goal, letting AI plan the steps, pick the right tools and execute, with humans in the loop to review critical decisions. It moves beyond single interactions to autonomous task execution that can manage workflows across data sources.
Inside the AMP Initiative: Building Markets that Work for Growers
Q: What changes for growers participating in AMP?
Participating growers receive practice adoption incentives and access to marketing and communication programs, along with commercialization support to place their products into new or existing channels, aided by an aggregator that coordinates storytelling, addressable markets, and direct-to-consumer opportunities.
Inside the AMP Initiative: Building Markets that Work for Growers
Q: What is the core problem AMP is trying to address?
AMP aims to translate conservation investments and land stewardship into real market opportunities by connecting growers with aggregators, retailers, and direct-to-consumer channels, while helping communicate the value of climate-smart farming through storytelling and regional branding.
