So refreshing to hear these wonderful ladies so enthusiastically discussing the great man’s writings. So few people actually read great works anymore, it is indeed refreshing. Thank you! Five stars!
A great help in understanding Orthodoxy!
Great job Ladies! Between this podcast and Pints With Jack I’ve found my people. I am now 45. I discovered Mere Christianity at 9 years old and Orthodoxy at 20. My life was changed. But it’s so hard to find people to discuss these things with. I have two friends who share my love for these things. One died in August. I have shared this podcast with the other. I feel like I’m home, with people like me, talking about the things I love most. Thank you!
Couldn’t think of another title but thought of the most nerdiest, most Britishey thing I could. So great scott! LOVE what you are both doing. I’ve only listened to the first episode but will devour the rest for sure! Thank you for doing this and “Womanalive” indeed! Man Alive is my favorite GKC work, for all the same reasons you stated. And if your first episode was this good, I can’t wait to hear the rest! Do I sound excited? Yes! And who is Scott really? And why was he great? Who cares! Becaus... more
Great job Grace and Marie for taking on the challenge of GKC! They make Chesterton accessible and understandable with wit and wisdom through their delightful and uplifting conversation. I have longed to dive into his works but fear and trepidation have limited my reading to merely his works of fiction. I eagerly anticipate the journey through Orthodoxy. I discovered the GKC podcast through Pints with Jack. These are now my two favorite podcasts!
