Some claimed he was really there as a mercenary, a fighter. Others said he was a reckless freelancer, in over his head. And there was another question: was he killed on purpose, or was this another accident o... more

I enjoyed this podcast but Chris' killing was the natural consequence of the poor ethics he had and the many bad choices he made.
Very poor, greater volume is needed.
Even on the latest iPhone it’s impossible unless it’s up to your ear!!
I was entrenched in this tale, and the way that they covered his story truthfully and with respect. If this is all the truth his family gets, I hope they know that he was portrayed as a complicated but good person.
Great journalism by Basia, as always. However overall I found it a bit tedious to listen to as I think Christopher is not a journalist but just a reckless, lost and overconfident white male
A fascinating, hugely moving, intelligent tribute to - and exploration of - a tragic event and an amazing life.
