I’m out. I agree that the old show format wasn’t working—there wasn’t any chemistry between the hosts and one of them (Renee) just didn’t know anything about baseball. But the new format, where Tyler just talks at us for an hour, is somehow worse. He doesn’t have a compelling persona and his monologues are not well-written. I’ve been searching for an informative Phillies podcast for years now and love this new format with Tyler. Informative talk from someone who loves this team but isn’t just a fan spouting emotion or opinions. The schedule will be the perfect amount for quality content.
I listen to sports podcasts because I don’t want to listen to sports talk radio and this show is just sports talk radio without callers. Not for me.
