Stephen is emphatic and passionate about the topics he covers and you just can't help but want to dive into those things too. Also, the Avatar episode is rad.

When he got into podcasts he kept recommending them to me, but I just couldn't get into them. Not my thing and that's fine. All that background to say, he finally persuaded me! Stephen does a fantastic job at actually persuading the listener into being interested in the subject that he’s talking about. He’s well spoken and informed about the subject that he’s talking about in a relatively short amount of time. Never knew Marble Racing was a thing!

He does a great job of mixing up topics and keeping them relevant. There is a topic for everyone. Episodes are pretty short, so they’re great for a quick listen. When discussing topics, he does a great job keeping a down-to-Earth mentality and backing up his recommendations with research he’s done. Lastly, the show notes are PACKED with links and extras pertinent to the episode’s topics.

Stephen does a great job of moving from topic to topic in each episode. But honestly the best part is the show notes. I see so many podcasts not have them, or don’t provide links to stuff, so having even a newer podcast like this put in the time and effort of doing it? Great variety of topics. Where a lot of podcasts I’ve come across focus on one solid thing that can branch out but still stem from the same seed, this podcast varies in so many ways from pop culture to plants! Can’t wait to see what’s in store and also excited for more of the spin off “Persuade Me”. Simply because I know the podcaster personally and how hard it is to persuade him to check certain things out. 🤣

What I really like about this podcast is the variability of it. While there are certain topics that I can listen to for hours and hours, it takes a lot for something to catch my interest and hold it. Persuade You does a fantastic job of talking about a variety of topics, so that I never got bored while I’m listening.
