    John Hiatt has been my favorite musician since a friend put a cassette tape of Slow Turning in my hands. Since then his music has been the soundtrack of my life, soothing me through heartbreak, giving insight to the joys and fears of raising children, watching them leave the nest and many more milestones along the way.
