  • Not just little adults

Love that he takes a one on one approach like you would get as a resident with him. Also helps to take some of the apprehension out of working with a pediatric patient as he understands is not an every day occurrence for some of us!

  • So valuable

What a podcast! Finally something that really helps you tackle those tricky Pediatric critical care questions. It’s not only just the skeleton of textbook information, it’s meaty and filled with gems of knowledge that come only with years of practice. I look forward to growing with each episode they put out.

Episode 129: Pediatric Otolaryngology in the Pediatric ED. Discussion with Dr. Jeremy Prager
Q: What would you recommend for the best antibiotics for those kids with potential peritonsillar abscess?

Episode 129: Pediatric Otolaryngology in the Pediatric ED. Discussion with Dr. Jeremy Prager
Q: Do you recommend using topical antibiotics if a child has tympanostomy tubes?

Episode 129: Pediatric Otolaryngology in the Pediatric ED. Discussion with Dr. Jeremy Prager
Q: Can you give us more information about acute otitis media?
In the absence of concerning symptoms, it is reasonable to monitor children with apparent otitis media rather than automatically prescribe antibiotics, considering the high prevalence of viral infections.
