  • Not an Hour

Frustrated that this podcast is called "PBS News Hour" and most of the episodes are maybe 4 minutes. I would want a show with the word "Hour" in its name to last at least the better part of an hour.

These are the people that don't know LOVE, who don't understand it's essence, nor it's power. LOVE is not satisfiable. You can never satisfy it, nor can you conquer it. Vance faces first global test as U.S. negotiator with Iran
Q: Does Vance's divergent stance compared to the president complicate his negotiating role?
Yes, there is tension between defending the president's decisions and presenting independent negotiating posture, which can create both leverage and vulnerability in talks.
Vance faces first global test as U.S. negotiator with Iran
Q: How did he perform in the initial talks, Heather?
The panel suggests he stuck to stated objectives for about 21 hours and did not seal a deal, signaling a measured but limited success given the complexity of the issues.
Timeline for Strait of Hormuz shipping recovery remains uncertain
Q: What would you expect to see if there were a true reopening, and how long might normal traffic take to resume?
The analyst suggests a gradual return to normality only after Iran relinquishes control over choke points, the US reduction or removal of sanctions, and a stable security environment, with seafarers awaiting greater clarity before full traffic resumption.
