  • TDs allowed by defense in playoffs

In the Herald, Callahan writes that Patriots defense has given up 2 TDS in 1st two playoff games. Then in his podcast with Devin McCourty, he says the defense has given up a TD in each playoff game. Given that the beat the Chargers 16-3 in wild card game, could Callahan please explain where the Chargers scored a TD?

When someone has trouble counting to one, how do you rely on them for quantitative analysis?

The good news for him, he probably thinks this is a two star rating,

  • Favorite patriots podcast

Callahan is the best mix of informative and fun in any Pats podcast I’ve listened to. He always has good analysis of what is actually going on in the games, and never swings too far to the homer side or the Felger side of things. At least for me, I don’t listen to podcasts just for raw information but also for the personality of the host. I like that he lets that shine ... more

Marcellus Dyle and Eli Raritan stood out for their consistent production and trust from quarterbacks, while Tommy DeVito impressed as the clear backup quarterback, showing decision-making and accuracy that earned him more responsibility throughout camp.
Winners and losers from Patriots-Colts joint practice
Q: What's the headline takeaway from today's practice regarding Christian Gonzalez's absence?
The consensus is that Gonzalez's absence is more likely contract-related than an injury, and the team's priority is to protect their working relationship while evaluating the defense and getting ready for upcoming practices and the season.
The biggest surprises at Patriots training camp and mailbag
Q: What has surprised you most about camp so far?
Christian Gonzalez's full participation and professional demeanor, along with Kayshon Boutte's breakout impact at receiver, have been the standout surprises this early in camp.
Patriots Year 2 leap predictions, position battles and mailbag
Q: Who has the best potential year-two leap among this draft class?
Caleb Loma is highlighted as the top candidate for a year-two leap due to rare athletic traits and age, with Gabe Akers also mentioned as a potential breakout but second to Loma.
Patriots Year 2 leap predictions, position battles and mailbag
Q: Which street free agents could Patriots realistically sign before the season starts?
The host argues that no current free agents are realistically intruding; even big names would require injuries to demand a move, and the team is unlikely to sign anyone imminently unless an opportunity arises later in camp.
