Thank you for bringing this story into the open. Having experienced the NHS mental health hospital St Ann’s in the 1990s for a very short time (which was an awful experience) I am left feeling there but for the grace of god go I. What a shocking and distressing story, to be denied your liberty for being autistic is heartbreaking and then to be repeatedly sexually assaulted, I have no words. Thank you Alexis

Too many adjectives are needed to describe both the dreadful experience that Alexis had to endure, and her unbelievable courage and bravery to escape from the very people who are supposed to be helping her!
