  • Vulnerable, real, brave

I found Lauren through a little spat on Instagram, ready to judge her. Then went on her page and about an hour later, found myself in awe of her honesty and talent. And then I found her podcast. Moms especially- open your hearts and minds to this. Because anything you find cringey or “too much,” is probably just stuff you feel uncomfortable acknowledging within yourself. Not all the time, not everything. But she’s worth it.

  • Listen before Oprah does

Seriously, I think Oprah or someone similar will discover this podcast any day now and it will blow up.

It is a little rough around the edges in many ways, but the content, especially about the different aspects of the experience of being a woman makes it so so worth it - for men and women. Listen if you want to wake up to the deeper patterns behind societal norms.

  • Essential listening

This is essentially the best part of it . Women with words.who better to define and explore us but women other women. Women who can understand the utter complexity of life. Women who are coming out of the fog, who are in the fog who are going into the fog of what patriarchy has told us we are in . To us it our place of learning deep within us where the true clarity resides. The part of us where we come undone and where we heal. Through words of women we learn to tap in to our intuition again.Thi... more

  • Don’t listen anymore - fake feminism to turn a profit. Another one bites the dust.

I used to come to this page and podcast for genuine female empowerment and connection and representation. But in the last few weeks it’s gotten incredibly dark, bitter, petty and with her Instagram veering towards hating other women just for existing like Meghan Sussex (a tired band wagon, can we just let women live please), I can no longer listen to this or recommend it to my female friends. Her defending JK Rowling should have been my moment to realize who she actually is, what she stands for... more
