I really enjoy listening to the Parkscope guys and their creative podcasts, from varying hosts, topics and locations (sometimes even recording while on long road trips). As someone who loves to travel to theme parks and ski areas worldwide, I especially appreciate Alan's international trip reports and Alex's ski trip reports (this is the only podcast I know of that includes ski trip reports - a huge bonus in my book!). Keep up the good work guys!
I started listening based on a recommendation for Disney podcasts. My impression is that the hosts are negative and primarily use this as their outlet for Disney grievances and complaints.
This show used to be really good and the chemistry between the hosts was really good as well. Then all of a sudden three of the shows four hosts decided to only do maybe two episodes a year. The two newer hosts just don’t have the chemistry the original three had. I understand people have jobs and family and stuff but how hard could it possibly be for four friends to skype and talk about theme parks for an hour or two once a month? Hopefully the show can make it back to what it once was.
Pains me to only give Parkscope three stars, Joe n the guys are awesome, but it’s gone downhill since Alan joined the fold. The Orlando-related content is limited these days, mostly just endless regional park/coaster talk from that guy’s trips. Still good stuff and worth a listen I suppose, but not quite what it used to be
Consistently great discussion about Universal, Disney, AND regional parks. These guys are always interesting and always have great guests. Thanks for being so steadfast, Parkscope!
