These podcasts are not what you think. Yes they are about pain management. Yes you will learn a ton. However Dr. Hansen has a unique way of presenting the information. He has fun interviews with guests and a great personality that makes his podcast not only informative but also fun to listen to and quite funny sometimes. The information is excellent if your goal is to increase your knowledge in the field of pain management. You will learn things here you will not learn anywhere else.
Dr. Hansen offers insightful thoughts on pain. Not at all dry. Quite engaging. Sounds like the Dr. Drew of pain, but with legit credentials.
The information discussed is very timely and a common sense and true medical evidence approach.
Excellent podcast! This podcast is presented in layman terms, easy to understand for the average person. I find it extremely enlightening. Dr. Hansen does an impeccable job at conveying the info. PLS continue to fight for those in chronic pain because as you stated, so many myths out there ARE affecting “access” to meds that the chronic pain pt legitimately needs in order to walk & function.
