Thank you Erin and Stephanie! I’m mostly new to both runDisney and breast cancer. I participated in the half (of a half) in 2024 and the half in 2025. I was diagnosed Thanksgiving week 2024 with ILC with my lumpectomy and sentinel node surgery coming up at the end of February. You two make me smile, laugh, and make me feel like I have friends in this journey with me. Thank you!

My mom & my sister (and her daughter) & I are all BRCAII Positive. My mom passed away after battling ovarian cancer for almost 9 years. I’ve had a complete hysterectomy and now I’m gearing up for a mastectomy and reconstruction. Thank you for normalizing everything you are going through. I need this right now, I need your word... more
