  • Love the pod!

Love the pod! Neal and Chase are both true journalists: fair and facts first. The only nitpick is that they’ll reference things that seemingly have a deep history but won’t expand on the details. I’m sure they only do that to protect sources or not give away off-record info, but it’s a cliff-hanger every time that makes me want the whole story 😂. Anyways, love it and keep up the good work!

  • Josh Hendrickson

I could listen to Josh Hendrickson talk all day. Cannot recommend his show enough. Love his views and his politics. An Economics professor at Ole Miss. Please tell me other professors at Ole Miss share his political views. I’m from Kentucky, but if they do, I will send my kids to Ole Miss, and not think twice.

  • Excellent and Funny Content

Not sure how I found the McCready and Siskey podcast but was hooked from first episode. The duo plus the Mac Monday addition of AJ is fantastic. It’s a definitely a do not miss podcast. I’ve extended out to the Hand-Raise Guys episodes. Knowledge and history plus great story telling and guests make this my go to podcast.

  • Podcast Gold

These guys kill me. I love listening to them talk. This podcast stands as an exemplar reminder that there are still small pockets of this country where the harsh realities of this world can seize to exist. Where a couple of local sports talkers can be big in their community and feel important. Mayberry exists, folks. Globalization…what’s that? Read the New York Times? Why would anyone in Oxford even entertain the idea? I give you Mississippi. Their cadence, the long, dramatic pauses in between ... more

McCready & Siskey -- The Late Hit, Week Zero
Q: What do you think about the calendar change moving up one week?
It's a controversial tweak with potential ripple effects on schedules, playoffs, and player readiness, and opinions were mixed about whether it's wise or not.
Rippee Writes: Sports Business Journal's Ben Portnoy
Q: Take me through the timeline of the original bill and what changed leading up to last Friday, what concessions were made to get the SEC and Big Ten on board.
Portnoy explains that the bill evolved from an initial draft with major changes over time, including raising the cap for athlete compensation, clarifying sponsorship/collective rights, and refining the pooling of media rights language to accommodate conference concerns, with the SEC and Big Ten signing on as negotiations progressed.
BlueSky Live Extra Edition: Mick Gillispie joins to discuss SEC, Alabama, MLB, Cubs and more
Q: Let's talk some Major League Baseball. What are your thoughts on the season going into 2027?
Mick Gillispie emphasizes the ongoing payroll imbalance, the Dodgers' ability to assemble an all-star roster, and the need for competitive balance through salary caps or minimums; he also notes the Cubs' strategies and how market dynamics affect competitive fairness.
7/20/26: Trio of guests from SEC Media Days
Q: Trey Wallace, what was your take on Sankey's remarks at Media Days?
Trey expresses that Sankey's comments were not blockbuster in content, but noted the ongoing strategic tension around strength of schedule, playoff format, and congressional action, implying a careful approach rather than dramatic announcements.
MyDawgsPod- One Question for Every SEC Coach at Media Days
Q: What gives you the confidence that this team has the ability to win close games to where last year's team did not?
The transcript does not provide a definitive answer from a coach; it frames the question around potential reasons like offense line improvements or defensive pressure.
