  • Love the pod!

Love the pod! Neal and Chase are both true journalists: fair and facts first. The only nitpick is that they’ll reference things that seemingly have a deep history but won’t expand on the details. I’m sure they only do that to protect sources or not give away off-record info, but it’s a cliff-hanger every time that makes me want the whole story 😂. Anyways, love it and keep up the good work!

  • Josh Hendrickson

I could listen to Josh Hendrickson talk all day. Cannot recommend his show enough. Love his views and his politics. An Economics professor at Ole Miss. Please tell me other professors at Ole Miss share his political views. I’m from Kentucky, but if they do, I will send my kids to Ole Miss, and not think twice.

  • Excellent and Funny Content

Not sure how I found the McCready and Siskey podcast but was hooked from first episode. The duo plus the Mac Monday addition of AJ is fantastic. It’s a definitely a do not miss podcast. I’ve extended out to the Hand-Raise Guys episodes. Knowledge and history plus great story telling and guests make this my go to podcast.

  • Podcast Gold

These guys kill me. I love listening to them talk. This podcast stands as an exemplar reminder that there are still small pockets of this country where the harsh realities of this world can seize to exist. Where a couple of local sports talkers can be big in their community and feel important. Mayberry exists, folks. Globalization…what’s that? Read the New York Times? Why would anyone in Oxford even entertain the idea? I give you Mississippi. Their cadence, the long, dramatic pauses in between ... more

Great show love Neal and Tyler. Everyone else as well. Even though Neal absolutely hates Auburn with a passion. You guys make me pull for Mississippi more than ever.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

6/18/26: How things have changed in short order
Q: What do you see as the biggest driver of the current shifts in college sports economics?
The biggest driver is the combination of transfer portal activity, NIL payments, and the evolving revenue sharing that now funds both players and programs at a much larger scale; budgets are expanding rapidly and are less predictable year to year, forcing programs to rethink staffing, facilities, and salaries.
CPP: Handicapping Mississippi Governor's Race | Austin Barbour
Q: Handicap this thing for me. Where are we sitting right now?
Lanscape is shaping up with Lynn Fitch as a top tier runoff prospect, Shad White and Delbert Hoseman also strong contenders; Duff, Gibson, Gunn, and Presley have pathways to a runoff depending on fundraising and organization.
4/22/26: Mike Bianco doesn't get enough credit
Q: What is the main factor behind Ole Miss' recent baseball status according to the hosts?
Hiring Joel Mangrum and giving him room to implement his system is highlighted as a key driver of improvement and adaptability within the program.
CPP: Ole Miss chancellor Glenn Boyce
Q: How is the university navigating NIL Go and the current contract/arbitration bottlenecks in athlete compensation?
NIL Go is meant to ensure fair market value and proper governance, but the system has become slower due to arbitration and contract clearance requirements, causing delays in payees and necessitating a careful, standardized process across deals.
CPP: Ole Miss chancellor Glenn Boyce
Q: What are the opening dates and beds for the P3 dormitory project, and how does that relate to the university's enrollment goals?
The project will add about 1,200 beds in the first phase, with additional beds planned in the following years, and is tied to easing enrollment growth by providing more housing and supporting student life, including sorority housing.
