I love this podcast! I started with OK K.O., then Ducktales, Owl House, Craig of the Creek, svtfoe, and now Gravity Falls! I'm going to listen to your Steven Universe podcast next. I feel like I'm listening in backwards order. Anyways, great podcast! (The airing might not work, but I suggest covering Chikn Nuggit, and the new Phineas and Ferb.)
I love this podcast, but a new season of Dragon Prince came out like 2 days ago, and i think it would be great if you could post some new episodes on The Overly Animated Dragon Prince podcast â¨
Thanks for reading! â¨â¨

I would love if you got some kids to come like your kids or kids you find big fans. Someone that would be FULL of imagination so they could tell you how they feel I just think as you grow you become less and less imagination and less energy
I listen to you everyday and it changed my life, keep doing awesome!
P.S. Dylan I totally agree with all your complaints about the internet.
P.P.S. Justin, your jokes always make me laugh so hard.
Thanks!
Itâs a good podcast. I just started following them and they bring interesting thoughts on the series. Although I think they are insisting a little too much on the sentimonster theory and also sometimes speak all three at once (it makes it hard to listen and I have to keep rewinding, âcause I usually listen to it while doing dishes or something else).
Also I just wanted to mention there is a new show on Disney + that will fill the space The Owl House left called Haileys on it! I watched the first episode last night and it was so good! It is created by someone who worked on TOH so yeah. There are six episodes so far and also Disney is anouceimg other new animated shows on July 12 and Iâm so excited because this will yield a new era in Disney Channel animated shows. Can you please do a podacasr on Haileys on it because itâs amazing. Great show... more
My absolute FAVORITE podcast on cartoons!! we have such similar taste in shows itâs like getting to hear my friends opinions with good analysis and dissection of the material.
Iâve been a long time listener for 7 years and am so sad theyâre on a hiatus, really hope Overly Animated comes back â itâll be worth the wait!
YESSSSSSSSS VERY REaL JUST HOW I REACTED!!!1!!111!!!!!
I love animated shows such as the owl house miraculous ladybug and star vs the forces of evil and I like listening to the podcast because sometimes they notice things I didnât notice and they have great ideas of stuff that could happen.
Good reviews but unlistenable due to the terrible quality of the mics

A sharp, analysis-forward show that covers animated series and related media with in-depth character, plot, and meta-context discussions. Episodes often balance nostalgic fandom with critical takes on storytelling decisions, pacing, and thematic undercurrents, while weaving in audience feedback and community dynamics. Notable strengths include thoughtful breakdowns of character arcs, consideration of fandom discourse, and light, humorous banter among a steady panel of hosts. A good pick for listeners who want thoughtful, episode-driven conversations about animation across both classics and newer titles, with a knack for connecting on-plot analysis to broader media trends.
