  • Fake radio voice and a ton of ads with little info

Good Lord! An hour podcast with 5 minutes of useful info. Justin’s fake radio voice is as cheesy as it gets. No real info of value for non locals and lots of nonsense for people who live there.

  • Nailed it!!

Love this podcast. Finally making my dream come true and moving to the bank, and hearing their happy banter and information about the island makes me feel like a local immediately. Also super helpful in learning the hot spots to see and places to work/visit/ and eat!!

  • OBX This Week

I love the local banter back and forth between Autumn & Justin. If you’re not a local, the banter makes you feel like you are, especially if you patronize local businesses. How boring would it be if there wasn’t banter back and forth?

All of the episodes have been geared towards local establishments, local lore and all things REAL Outer Banks.

  • Not digging the insiders vibe

I was excited to learn that Outer Banks This Week was doing a podcast, and with the background these hosts have, they should be ideal for this show. But even as a rental home owner who spends lots of time in the Outer Banks, I feel like an outsider listening to this. I feels too much like two insiders catching up on gossip than sharing information with others. Too much personal banter, too many references to their own circle of friends and associates. And it’s way too hard to know what’s promoti... more
