Welles was a legend in his time and in his own mind unfortunately. His body of work is amazing. Some of these radio shows though suffer from Welles overdoing a character or diminishing the other players to the point that I wonder why are they there other than to prop his ego and say a word or three. Some shows feel slapped together.
Orson Welles was a master story teller and creative genius. Find out why millions gathered around the radio set and treat yourself to high quality radio entertainment.
Modern podcast just don’t capture the same mood as old radio dramas. After years of listening to Relic Sci-fi I was happy to make this discovery last night. Orson Welles beautiful voice perfect for the before bed listen.
Relic Radio is top tier OTR and Welles was a master of radio drama. There are hours of fantastic shows here, my personal favorites are his Suspense episodes and the movie adaptations.
A real pleasure listening to these old dramas starring the Master. Sound quality is surprisingly good, and the stories are fun.
