太田ゆうすけくんが以前「ヒューマンライブラリー」で、自分の障害と向き合った話についてあらためて話しました。
最初は自分の障害について細かく話すことに抵抗があったものの、このイベントをきっかけに、今まであまり意識していなかった腕の不自由さなど、全身性脳性麻痺の症状を改めて整理できたゆうすけくん。
この経験は、自分の障害を深く理解し、それを言葉にする力につながっただけでなく、就職活動でも役に立ったと話してくれました。

普段の「移動」って、いろんな人との出会いを生んでいるんだな。
学生時代、放課後デイサービスに通っていた約7年間、毎日商店街を歩いていました。そのおかげで、地域の人たちとすごく仲良くなれた ということを中心に話しました。
今はB型作業所にバスで通っていて、バスの運転手さんとは顔見知り。もはや顔パスで乗せてもらえるくらい親しい関係だとか。
このように、彼の移動手段が変わるたびに、新しい人間関係が生まれています。「日常と移動」が紡ぐ、ちょっとユニークな交流の物語を紹介します。

以前YouTubeのヒューマンライブラリにも出ていた。太田ゆうすけくん。
今回は太田ゆうすけさんの小学生・中学生の頃のお話です。
彼は車いすを使っていたこともあって、クラスメイトからちょっと遠慮されてしまったり、手の障害でノートを取るのに時間がかかって、勉強についていくのが大変だったりしたそうです。
小学生の低学年の頃は、近所の人たちとの交流も少なくて、なんだか周りから浮いているような気持ちになったこともあったとか。

幼い頃、大出血によるリハビリのために始めたゲーム。
なんと、お母さんの方がゲームに夢中になり、ほとんどのゲームはお母さんが買っていたそう！
