This podcast is…..not good. In a world where pop culture podcasts are a dime a dozen, do yourself a favor and literally find ANY other one. Mean, lazy, and wildly unfunny.
Listen, I love a gab. I love two friends gabbing and googling. I’m listening to the gabbing and I’m giggling. It’s not that serious. Pretty sure they aren’t trying to win a Pulitzer. The intro song is a bop. Love you guys.
I listen to Sword and scale and I’m not at all interested in the personal scandals of online people but I accidentally found this episode and thought I’d give it a try.
I will try to not use superlatives so to put it mildly this was really bad to listen to. The hosts arguments against Mike B and free speech are completely empty and hollow, it’s just their own feelings. And they are not funny at all, to speak as the young of today, it’s cringe.

With so many other podcasts to listen to, you should do your research at least before speaking on basically anything. I tried to listen, 38 mins in maybe to one episode and you guys are boring me to death talking about random stuff you clearly know nothing about. No wonder this was so low rated. Hard pass.
…I’m really enjoying this, it’s very informal, two mates gossiping away style. I came here because of the Shanin Blake ep, having heard about her elsewhere, but I’m loving a lot of the archive episodes - Gen X fodder for sure, and what the hell is bad about that?! :D

This show blends irreverent pop culture chatter with sharp, often humorous take-downs of internet lore and trending scandals. Hosts Katie and Nathan lean into casual banter, deep dives on quirky online phenomena, and playful mischief, delivering long-form episodes that feel like a hangout with friends while they dissect viral moments, media narratives, and celebrity-fueled stories. A notable strength is the unfiltered, witty dynamic between hosts, which tends to attract listeners who want candid commentary over polish, plus occasional guests or spontaneous tangents that keep the tone light and entertaining.
