Dear editors,
I love this podcast and listen to it from France. You've kind of become my new imaginary best friends.
In the 90s, the real cool thing was to have access to magazines imported from the United States—fashion magazines, of course, but especially music magazines. Your podcast takes me right back to my teenage years: I had binders filled with magazine covers that I kept preciously, perfume ads, and interviews with stars, since I wasn't allowed to turn my room into a poster wall.

I love Troy, even when he justifies my hoarding. When listening to the latest Issue on JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, I had a flashback to seeing a taping of the Rosie O’Donnell show in L.A., where John-John himself was one of the guests. A true stunning king of flops, he brought everyone in the audience a copy of the first issue of George magazine. It was one of those things I could never part with. And even though it sits collecting dust in a box in my parents’ garage, untouched for decades. I’... more
Letter to the Editor
Where do I begin? Dara Lane and Troy are the type of gals that you can’t help but stop and listen to their deep dives. Long ago are the days of drinking Seattle’s Best while discussing EWs at Borders, but these Millennial forbearers are still keeping that spirit alive. My question for the both of you is, do you two have a background and/or degree in the journalism/publishing industry?
With regards - Fury Road 2015
The girlies want more. Make all the podcasts. Take all my money. Start a network. Run for President. I need Dara and Troy in a remake of Dick!
Dara is my red wine aunt and Troy is her husband and they have a lavender marriage. Listening to the pod makes me feel like I’m at a table in a dimly lit dive bar with a long cigarette and a lukewarm Tito’s, listening to my favorite people talk about my favorite things.
