A podcast that takes the life stories of one individual, told by them, with no script, and combines it with music being improvised in real time. It doesn’t get any more real that that, folks.

AWESOME!!! I have seen Jim Byrnes perform LIVE twice growing up in Vancouver & twice now living in Victoria… have ALL of Music & performances AWESOME!!!
I remember walking in to the New Castle hotel in Nanaimo 1976 this guy walks up to the stage and does blistering version of All Along The Watch Tower never forgot that performance been a fan ever since.
We were drawn to Jim Byrnes because of his great music and the high caliber of musicians who he can get to play with him. But his stories are so good. This compilation of stories is like having an audio book of favourites and the excellent background improvisations make for fine listening.
I just hope I can keep these podcasts on my phone so I can listen again and again.
Good story telling with an awesome backing track.
First time I saw Jim in concert, I loved his stories as much as his music. These podcasts are awesome. Love the stories and the background music.
