A dogwatch is an evening shift of early or late duty, or the people who undertake it. This Dogwatch considers the natural world and the things that help us experience it—from dogs to watches, and everything in between. Ultimately, it’s a place where we go wherever curiosity takes us.

This was a brilliant piece of online journalism. Michael’s interview style directed the guest so that someone like me who has never been away from sight of land could understand how celestial navigation works. Thanks!
I personally love this podcast and you will too! Canfield’s passion about dogs shines through with his words and joyful demeanor. This is also the only dog centered podcast I know of/have heard of and provided a refreshing and new topic that is relatively minor in the world of podcast compared to the topic’s general popularity. It is only a matter of time before a dog-centered podcast became popular, and I believe it should be “On The Dogwatch”!
This is a fantastic podcast that will both entertain and expand your world. Deeply engaging, friendly, highly and broadly informative. Follow this one!
On the Dogwatch is my new favorite podcast. The cleverness of Canfield doesn’t stop at the title, and his energy and curiosity for life is contagious. Listener’s can’t help but get sucked in. I didn’t think a podcast about watches and dogs and everything in between could be that interesting, but I was very wrong.
This content is well thought out. I am glad I came across this podcast. Can’t wait for more episodes. Well done!
