Fariba Nawa and her team were relentless in pursuing this story. The time and effort, research, travel and witness interviews combined to make each episode gripping. This is “old school” in-depth reporting at its best.
I listen in my car, as I’m driving places near and far. I’ve actually sat in my driveway, listening to the end of an episode before I go inside. This is journalism at its best: Introducing a new world to me, with characters and their dilemmas presented in such a way, I grasp their humanity in the midst of world conflicts. Well done, a great find.
