Reviews

4.6 out of 5 stars from 61 ratings
  • Entertaining, could be better!

I want to give this podcast 5 stars but it just lacks that bit of polish that the others have. Andrew and Josh seem to be silent a lot of the time and just add in a “yeah” every now and then. Being an Aussie cast I want it to do really well, please give everyone the chance to shine and contribute not just gomma!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

EP122 - Path to Glory Campaigns - Do they stack up? And the rumour mill is swirling
Q: What new human and non-human faction would you like to see added to the game other than the Kislev and or the Legacy?
I'd like to see Numis, the city of Tomb Kings, which represents a mix of humans and undead. For humans, picking Astalia would be great.
EP122 - Path to Glory Campaigns - Do they stack up? And the rumour mill is swirling
Q: Would you take a merworm if it could be a mount?
If they added a good character for it and gave it reliable stats, it could be a fun option.
EP121 - From HeroHammer to HordeHammer - What held up over the editions - Warhammer The Old World
Q: How hyped are you for Warhammer Quest? Do you consider a good value for money?
The sentiment is mixed; while some find the models appealing, there's skepticism about their value and the game's longevity.
EP121 - From HeroHammer to HordeHammer - What held up over the editions - Warhammer The Old World
Q: So with the likely forthcoming balance changes to Cathay and Vampire Counts, do you think that it's likely changes will also be made to Beastman Lists?
Some changes may come to Beastmen, but it's uncertain as they might not be the focus given the community's call for balance with established units.
E92 - Wood Elves & Where's the Beastmen?
Q: What are your thoughts on the 500 point comp rules being introduced by GW?
The removal of overpowered units has opened up a variety of strategies and made the gameplay really fun and tactical.
