  • I Thought I Was Just Listening…Ended Up Smarter Somehow

I’m giving this show five stars because it helped me appreciate a film I had completely written off. The first time I watched the animated film Flow, I actually fell asleep. It felt slow, and I just didn’t connect with it. But after listening to the episode, the way the hosts broke down the themes like survival, isolation, and trust, and talked about how the film was made, I gave it another try.

I had no idea it was created using a free animation program, or that the whole thing was done in one... more

Really dig this podcast. The hosts are (obviously) brothers, so the dynamic is already built in. Found myself laughing several times. Started with the episode on Finch and quickly hit subscribe.

  • Two thumbs up!

I like that the podcast was not how I imagined it would go. You guys really gave some interesting points not only about the movies but about the casts and any back stories about the film. The most recent one I listened to was the Raya review which I gotta say I agree that the length was to long, but overall a good movie. You guys are honest which makes it interesting to hear it said out loud. Definitely subscribed! Keep up the great reviews!

  • Love Oh Brother!

Oh Brother has become my go to podcast when I’m out on a walk and need a good laugh! I find myself smiling, laughing out loud, and making contemplative, audible “hmms” when I listen. Dan and Mike have a great passion for films that make their podcast equal parts interesting, funny, and informative. I especially love the episodes where they quiz each other on film trivia or share about their favorite films. Honestly, I super dig when they speak truthfully about how trash a film may be, too 😆.
